Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage the entire life cycle of a diverse range of information technology projects from inception to completion ensuring effective project management and collaboration;
Develop project requirements, goals, objectives and success criteria, tasks, sequences, timeline durations and schedule, detailing the nature and level of effort needed; monitor project progress, serve as resource for team members on project tasks and confer with stakeholders on matters which are impacting timeline expectations;
Collaborate with subject matter experts in the review and analysis of project proposals to provide assurance that scope and approach aligns with IT strategies and are effective for achieving the stated business needs and/or goals;
Define project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders, obtain agreement on project scope and ensure that requirements sign-off is obtained;
Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive project plans including a variety of project files and records. Maintain document(s) version control and accountability;
Foster a team collaborative environment that tears down silos between groups, serving as a reliable resource and as a voice for all concerned anticipating needs and providing timely solutions;
Ensure that all project deliverables are assigned to a responsible resource and on track throughout the project lifecycle making appropriate escalations when needed for transparency and accountability;
Maintain and track relevant metrics that increase transparency and to keep stakeholders respectfully informed for adaptive decision-making as necessary. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and recognize/celebrate team member contributions throughout the project;
Manage project scope throughout the project lifecycle with discipline to change management and addressing scope creep to keep projects on target;
Provide reliable assurance that all project dependencies/linkages are identified and in project plans (i.e., hardware, software, integrations/interfaces, licensing, third party vendor tasks, budgets, timelines, regulatory requirements, data security including CIA, contracts/NDAs, cross-project dependencies and other outside implementation timelines, etc.) ensuring that project schedules include all tasks and activities necessary to achieve project objectives;
Develop, document and implement project communication plans utilizing appropriate communications tools/techniques to ensure understanding and buy-in from applicable stakeholders (i.e., through executive summaries, key milestones reports, "4 blocker" summaries, etc.);
Proactively work to remove blockers, address issues, mitigate risks, and drive clear decision making; recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems;
Identify end-user training objectives associated with IT projects; coordinate the preparation and delivery of related training;
Ensure that any new/revised business processes/procedures are documented/updated and approved, as needed (i.e., workflow diagrams, network documentation, policies and procedures, job aids, training guides);
Conduct post-project reviews to identify processes/actions which had a high level of success and those which need process improvement; identify root causes of substandard project outcomes and recommend appropriate resolutions;
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3-5+ years of Technical Project Management experience with gradually increasing responsibilities and/or acceptable Project Management credentials such as Project Management Institute's PMP certification;
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, best practices, strategies and methods;
Technical background with an understanding of IT standards and frameworks;
Ability to independently manage the operational aspects of ongoing IT projects and serve as liaison between management and project team;
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles;
An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail;
Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills;
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve team results without direct reporting relationships;

Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
